10 years...Damn.
To say this show is one of the best Nicktoons to come out would be an understatement. Arguably it just might be THE Best, a certain sponge included. It took the action and heroism from 80s toons, the concepts from modern shows and the style from Anime to create an incredible story with legendary characters and iconic lands.
Simply put, it's the best that Western Animation had to offer, and it was completely original. So successful that it spawned a sequel series that's just as beloved and a comic that's still printing issues. Mike & Bryan created fine art with this animation and we're all the more thankful for it.
Toph: ...so that's it?
Me: What?
Toph: No cheap plugs from you? Surprising considering one of your longest stories was based on the series.
Me: Oh, you mean "Kingdom of War", the epic battle for the Earth Kingdom that reunites the Gaang against an old foe with a new ally?
Toph: There it is.
Me: I regret nothing.

So, about that Great Tumblr Purge/Exodus...
Yeah, I never spent much time on their anyway, so I'm not that heartbroken about its "Change in Policy". I will stay there to keep in contact with a few friends from way back, but if you want a more consistent way of contacting me...

I'll also be posting links to my new story there, if I forget to here. Stay up!
I'm Not Dead!
...I think I'll go for a walk.
Just saw Age of Extinction (SPOILERS!!!)
Well, here's where my love for all things involved with Robots in Disguise, and my sanity, gets questioned...
...I like Transformers: Age of Extinction. I really like it! In fact, this is Bay's best Transformers yet!
Now while most of us know the reason this film is hated (too long, Dinobots don't talk, Bay-Splosions), the things they do right in this film they really do right. In fact...it's almost...it's almost like Michael Bay listened to the fanbase! Example
The Human Element:
It's general knowledge that Sam Witwicky and his friends were one of the WORST parts of the first three films. Their importance to the plot was basically "O
New Korra Season Started...
My thoughts while watching the first 3 eps
- Nice to see Korra isn't going through an identity conflict this time around. She knows who she is, what to do, and how to do it.
- And the Republic City President is a Douche. I mean it, HUGE Douche. As in "I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the secret villain of this season or the next"-sized Douche.
- Korra & Asami...yep, they're the new KiGo.
- Bumi as an Airbender...I think he has the personality of a Firebender more, but that's just me.
- Is it me, or is Bolin a little more animated and goofier than the past seasons. They could tone it down a bit.
- Zuko's first appear
